Document Settings

Go to Menu->Document Settings

Document Size

• Select Document Size->Configure

Note

The height is only used for Print when you set the Print Page Size to match the Document Size.

• Default Font: specifies the font and font size for the whole document (Text Mode only).

• Line Height: specifies the minimum height for each line in Text Mode only. The unit is Ratio to Font Size.

• Paragraph Space -> Configure

• Every time you press Enter, a new paragraph is created. This option lets you specify the spacing between paragraphs. It only applies to Text Mode. There are 3 types:

  • Any Paragraph in Root Level, more info on Root Level
  • Any Paragraph in Nested Level, which is any Text Mode not in Root Level
  • Spacing between List Item

• Base Math Font: selects the font for the whole document, applied to Math Mode.

Note

This is the only place to change the font in Math Mode, and it applies to the whole document.

If you want symbols in Math Mode to look similar to Latex, select the Latin Modern font.

• Sub Math Font: users rarely need to change this option.
• Math Line Height: specifies the minimum height for each line in Math Mode. The unit is Ratio to Font Size.

Note

There is a known Mathcha bug related to Math Line Height. If you change its value to anything other than 1.4, exporting Math to Image/PNG may not work properly.
