Adding new Bib Item

  • Supported formats for adding a Bib Item:
    • BibTeX format (More Info)
    • Wikidata ID (More Info) — multiple IDs can be separated by spaces (for example: Q12 Q345 Q12). Mathcha will fetch information for these IDs.
    • DOI (More Info) — multiple IDs can be separated by spaces (for example: 10.1371/journal.pgen.1001111 10.3352/jeehp.2013.10.3). Mathcha will fetch information for these IDs.
    • BibJSON format (More Info)
    • CSL JSON format (More Info)
    • ISBN (More Info) — multiple IDs are not supported. Mathcha will fetch information for this ID.
    • PubMed (More Info) — multiple IDs are not supported. Mathcha will fetch information for this ID.
    • Mathcha JSON format — generated from Mathcha using the Export feature in the Bibliography dialog.

Display Format

By default, there are 3 formats to choose from. Select “Others…” to search for and select additional formats.

Multiple Bibliographies

When multiple Bibliographies are added to a document, each one is assigned a name. The name is required for Cite.
